We supply cork stools in a variety of different designs and finishes – the way we make them is to start with a cylinder that we form using extrusion rather than starting with a rectangular block made in a press (which is the more conventional way to make them agglomerated cork). The problem with starting from rectangular blocks is that there is a lot more cork wasted in the turning process, whereas our cylinders can be turned on a lather with a lot less wastage, which helps to keep costs down. Using a lathe we can produce a variety of different designs, although the champagne cork is by far the most popular. We can also add logos printed on the stools if required. Below are some photos from our factory showing some cork stools that have just come off the production line!

As well as making cork stools, we also produce cork yoga equipment (cork yoga blocks, cork yoga rollers and other more complex cork yoga equipment) starting from either blocks or cylinders of agglomerated cork. By producing our own blocks/cylinders of agglomerated cork, we can make sure that we use the most appropriate cork granules and block density for the products that we are producing, rather than just starting with generic agglomerated cork blocks which much of the industry uses.

Whether it is cork stools, cork yoga blocks or other larger cork items, we can offer some different finish options. Many times we round edges to get a more ergonomic feel to them and to make the edges more hard-wearing and sand them to get a smoother finish.

If you are looking for our standard cork stools or have a particular design in mind, please get in touch so that we can quote for them.
